Opening of the ANS window on the conformity of digital telemonitoring medical devices, with a view to reimbursement
Telemonitoring solutions will now be reimbursed under common law, subject to certain conditions.
A decree concerning the terms and conditions for assessing, registering for reimbursement and covering the cost of remote medical monitoring activities will be published very shortly. It will make reimbursement of digital telemonitoring medical devices conditional on obtaining a certificate, issued by the Agence du Numérique en Santé (ANS), ensuring compliance with an interoperability and security repository for digital medical devices. The first version of the repository has just been published.
The ANS window is thus open ahead of schedule to enable players to anticipate their steps and start filing their proofs.
