Executive Director of the Digital Health Agency

A few words from Jean-Christophe Zerbini

Healthcare innovation is taking shape across France. Through G_NIUS des Régions, we aim to raise the profile of local initiatives and foster connections between innovators, public sector stakeholders, and regional ecosystems.

G_NIUS Project Manager

A note from Julien PLAGNES

This service belongs first and foremost to them. All of the regions have opened their doors to us, shared their experiences, and contributed to the discussion. And four of them have gone a step further by becoming its first ambassadors. Our role at ANS? To give them the means to shine. I am proud that it was the regions themselves who wrote the first page of G_NIUS des Régions.

The digital transformation of healthcare in France is fundamentally reshaping the healthcare system, placing the patient at the center of an unprecedented ecosystem of medical innovation. From major cities like Paris, Bordeaux, Toulouse, and Brest to the most remote regions, initiatives are multiplying to connect researchers, companies, and healthcare professionals around concrete projects. Artificial intelligence, connected devices, personalized medicine, and 3D bioprinting are no longer mere technological promises: they are active drivers of development, already being used in clinical programs that are transforming patients’ daily lives. Specialized media and social media are now amplifying the reach of these medical innovations, creating a strong link between the digital health sector and the general public.

E-health today relies on a dense network of digital services, health data, and innovative applications driven by public and private stakeholders. The training of healthcare professionals, the development of medical IT platforms, patient therapeutic education, and the creation of connections between the various stakeholders in the healthcare system are at the heart of national programs such as the PEPR Digital Health. These initiatives, aligned with acceleration strategies in Europe, fund projects with significant social impact: home care, connected medical monitoring via smart devices, telemedicine, and health education for the most isolated patients. Artificial intelligence plays a pivotal role here, enabling detailed analysis of health data to support increasingly personalized medicine.

G_NIUS is part of this transformation by playing a central role in guiding and supporting all digital health project leaders. Whether you’re a researcher, a medical industry company, a healthcare professional, or an innovator looking for calls for proposals, the initiative creates an operational link between on-the-ground needs and available resources. Networking among stakeholders, promoting innovations in medical informatics, supporting the development of digital solutions for home care and connected devices, and training healthcare professionals: these are all concrete services that make G_NIUS a leading player in e-health in France. The use of digital media and social networks also enhances the visibility of these initiatives among both patients and medical professionals.

In a sector where health data, artificial intelligence, and digital applications are redefining medical practices, every project counts. Whether you are a healthcare professional looking to deploy a new connected service, a medical informatics researcher seeking partners, or a company developing connected devices for patients, the ecosystem offers the resources, networks, and programs to turn your innovations into tangible achievements, benefiting healthcare, patients, and the digital health system in France and Europe
