Launch of the 3rd Start-up & Handicaps competition

CoWork'HIT, an innovation center serving the disabled, and its partners are organizing the 3rd edition of the Start-up&Handicaps competition, following the success of the first 2 editions (9 winners, 180 applications). The aim of the competition is to encourage and promote the emergence of innovative solutions for the disabled, accelerate their implementation through support, and help structure the national industry. Project sponsors have until June 24 to submit their applications. At the end of the deliberations, five winners will be rewarded.

Supporting innovation and mobilizing people with disabilities

The call is out to national or French-speaking start-ups innovating in the field of disability to submit their applications by June 24 at le site.

Boosting an innovation serving the disabled also means helping to make our society more inclusive. In this respect, this competition, should enable us to seize every opportunity to open up the field of possibilities to candidates, meet industry players, federate to co-construct innovative solutions, certainly at the service of disability, but above all with disabled people themselves.

In addition to a prize of 10,000 euros allocated by the competition partners to the winning companies, the CoWork'HIT teams and their partners will also be offering comprehensive support to the winning projects, through the contribution of their cross-disciplinary expertise and access to their user networks. Sharing collective intelligence to go faster and further. That's what this competition is all about.

The awards ceremony will take place on November 3, 2022, as part of the Handicap Innovation Territoire (HIT) project organized by Lorient Agglomération.
The Start-up & Handicaps competition will ultimately produce an observatory on the French disability industry, helping to structure it, while promoting the local and regional dynamics mobilized around disability.
