In order to ensure the quality of care and patient safety, this care is subject to a favorable assessment by the Haute Autorité de santé and compliance of digital solutions with the interoperability and safety guidelines established by the Agence du numérique en santé.

Following exchanges with the various stakeholders (representatives of manufacturers and healthcare professionals), negotiations have resulted in an agreement that is satisfactory to all players. In particular, this agreement is reflected in the publication of the tariff decrees defining the various packages provided for, but also in the establishment of a monitoring committee to attest to our shared desire to ensure the establishment and implementation of this activity under common law.

In parallel with these initial negotiations, the Ministry naturally wishes to finalize the work initiated with professionals for the increase in certain complex care.

France is the first country in the European Union to establish a permanent framework for reimbursement by the Assurance Maladie of remote medical monitoring that brings clinical benefit or improves the organization of care. This major step forward will enable patients to benefit from this new modality.

These pricing decrees complete an already existing regulatory framework following the publication of the implementing decrees in December 2022.

For players present in the experimental ETAPES framework, the transition is possible on July 1, 2023. Other remote monitoring solutions can now begin the process of registering with clear visibility of all the regulatory and pricing elements present.
