The HAS is setting up an experiment giving volunteer manufacturers the opportunity to enhance the effect of their DMNs on the organization of the healthcare system. They will be required to submit a budgetary impact analysis with their application for inclusion or renewal of inclusion on the list of reimbursable products and services.

What is the aim of the experiment?

This experiment will enable manufacturers to then provide the Comité économique des produits de santé (CEPS) with a budget impact analysis validated by the Commission d'évaluation économique et de santé publique (CEESP) and valuing the savings generated by the concrete data in order to define the fairest possible pricing for their innovation.

.

Who's concerned?

This trial is open to manufacturers of DMNs claiming levels of ASA (improvement in expected service) or ASR (improvement in rendered service) ranging from major (I) to minor (IV) AND an impact on the organization of care, professional practices or patient care conditions, resulting in savings generated for the Health Insurance by the use of the product.
