The Third-Place service offering

Le Tiers lieu provides experimentation projects with support expertise concerning:

  • Clinical project evaluation (INES) ;
  • Studies and data analysis (IMT transfert) ;
  • Ethical organizational methods with patients and caregivers (ICAM) ;
  • Technical and medico-economic evaluation, taking into account the contribution of innovation for patients and caregivers (Forum des Living Labs) ;
  • Scientific communication and publication (all Tiers Lieu consortium partners) ;
  • The framework of the experiment: patients, supported persons and healthcare professionals from Ugecam IDF establishments.

Tiers lieu d'expérimentation projects

Project 1: Complex rehabilitation pathway

Supplier: EzyGain

Solution : EzyGain develops connected rehabilitation equipment (treadmill, virtual reality module...) implemented today in SMRs, EHPADs or at home.

Need : in order to meet the needs of patients in HAD-R (hospitalization at home specialized in rehabilitation) and in particular post-stroke patients or those with multiple sclerosis, the aim is to test these products and demonstrate their contribution in a rehabilitation program combining face-to-face and distance mode.

Ugecam contribution: contribution of its expertise in defining the experimentation protocols, defining the patient cohort, and evaluating and valorizing the results.

The project begins in July 2023 for a 2-year duration.

Project 2: Falls prevention pathway at home

Supplier : FeetMe

Solution and need: FeetMe specializes in connected insoles, to be adapted in this project to fall prevention for patients over 60. FeetMe will develop this tool to identify at-risk patients and assess the risk of falling at home (chronic pathology, rheumatology and orthopedics). A cohort of 100 patients will be recruited from Ugecam IDF's 3 adult SMRs, as well as from patients identified by professionals from CPTS 77 and URSP Kiné.

Ugecam contribution: involvement in trial protocols, patient information and training, data analysis, clinical, technical and medico-economic evaluations, communication and promotion of results

The project starts in September 2023 for a duration of 18 months.
