MSSanté Secure Messaging Service for professionals and citizens
MSSanté is the secure national health messaging system.
Getting started
The French government operates the MSSanté secure health messaging system.
The Agence du Numérique en Santé (ANS) is the regulator. Its deployment is being jointly supported by the ANS and the CNAM.
How does MSSanté work?
This is a trusted space that brings together all secure messaging operators (healthcare facilities, manufacturers, public bodies, etc.) that comply with the MSSanté, Health Data Hosting (HDS), Interoperability Framework, and National Health Directory standards.
How can you integrate MSSanté into your services?
You can become an operator yourself or use the services of a third-party operator.
For more information, see the Documentation section
In practice
There are two ways to interact with the MSSanté Trusted Space. You can become an MSSanté operator in order to offer a secure health messaging service to your users, or you can have your solution interface with existing MSS services to easily integrate messages received by your users into their MSSanté mailboxes.
When ?
Becoming an operator can take several weeks to several months depending on your technical architecture.
The ANS offers support to manufacturers who wish to join the Trusted Space and make the best decisions according to their needs.
