🎯 Tasks

  • Strengthen "public-private" partnerships for innovation and research among stakeholders in research, business, and users, as well as healthcare and independent living professionals;
  • Accelerate the development and deployment of innovations co-created with users and professionals in the sector;
  • Expand knowledge about practices that better address societal changes and the challenges of demographic transition, evaluate them in real-world settings, and promote their implementation.

For all projects related to frail older adults, those with reduced independence, those who are ill, or those with disabilities, the Gérontopôle NA is a valuable resource for:

  • Staying informed about developments in public policy on active and healthy aging in France and Europe;
  • Access a design service to explore the real potential of new solution ideas or identify the user experience value of future solutions;
  • Gain access to facilities for testing, experimenting with, and evaluating solutions in real-world settings throughout the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region (university laboratories, private sector partners, technology transfer centers, etc.);
  • Receive assistance with project financial planning and securing funding;
  • Receive support in promoting and scaling up solutions, sharing best practices and publications, and disseminating your information (calls for projects, etc.).

🤝 At what stage of my project should I contact Gérontopôle NA?

  • In the ideation phase: from concept to non-functional prototype;
  • In the experimentation phase: testing in real-world situations through the pre-commercial stage;
  • In the medical-economic evaluation phase;
