The challenge of the AMI is to fund innovative digital health projects and identify projects that could be funded under other calls for projects in the "Digital Health"

The "Digital Health" Call for Expressions of Interest meets two objectives:

• Inform the construction of the strategy by proposing both projects ready for funding and more forward-looking projects likely to be supported under future calls for projects;
• Identify the players involved and gather their project proposals on French territory.

The AMI has as its operator BPIfrance and was open between March and June 2021.

Projects submitted had to present an innovative component to ensure the eventual development and industrial-scale implementation of innovative products, technological processes or services, and address one of the identified themes:

• Digital medical devices;
• Health data collection and/or structuring;
• Other projects: third-party experimentation sites, digital population analysis services, teleconsultation services accessible to people with disabilities, "GreenIT" solutions, digital twins and emulated trials, AI for drug discovery, etc.
