The facilities must be large enough to participate in the rollout of the tested solution
Key information
Budget: €63 million over 5 years.
5-year goals:
- 35 Tiers-lieux financés
- About 100 innovative digital solutions tested and evaluated
Issue
The lack of "testing grounds" is a barrier to the development of the digital health sector.
This initiative aims to establish and fund pilot programs in healthcare and medical-social facilities, in collaboration with community-based healthcare providers, to validate the medical and economic benefits of these services and accelerate their market entry.
Description
The initiative aims to:
- Fund organizations that are “drivers” of innovation so that they can implement these pilot programs (engaging healthcare professionals, conducting medico-economic evaluations, providing project support, etc.)
- Empower these organizations and their digital industry partners to develop new tools and services, test them in real-world conditions, assess their impact, and identify the barriers and enablers to their deployment.
- Disseminate the results of the experiments and contribute to the deployment of solutions that have demonstrated their medico-economic impact. Share the lessons learned from failed projects with market players and client organizations.
