Until November 30, TEHDAS2 is putting several documents around EHDS up for public consultation on their website.

11 guidelines for the European health data space

Europe is moving towards a more harmonized and secure use of healthcare data. As part of the TEHDAS2 project, this public consultation is open until November 30 to gather opinions on 11 guidelinesthat will shape the future European Health Data Space (EHDS).

What is TEHDAS2?

TEHDAS2 (Towards European Health Data Space 2) is ajoint action funded by the European Commission, bringing together 29 countries around a common objective: to facilitate cross-border access to healthcare data while guaranteeing its security and proper use.

Why this consultation?

The documents put out to consultation aim to:

  • Harmonize practices between member states.
  • Strengthen European collaboration on research, innovation and healthcare policy.
  • Guarantee that the needs of citizens, healthcare professionals and regulatory authorities are taken into account.

Each guideline is subject to public input to ensure that the final recommendations areadapted to the realities on the ground.

The consultation is open untilNovember 30, 2025. Documents are available on the official TEHDAS2 website. Any interested person or organization can contribute: researchers, healthcare professionals, public institutions, companies in the sector, engaged citizens...
