Launch of the Priority Research and Equipment Program (PEPR) for digital health

Announced in 2021, on the occasion of the launch of France 2030's "Digital Health" acceleration strategy, the Priority Research Program and Equipment (PEPR) was launched on June 7, 2023. This research program, whose ambition is to position France as a European leader in digital health innovation, is jointly led by l'Inserm and l'Inria.

This program aims to encourage the transition to more preventive, predictive and personalized medicine and foster the emergence of a strong e-health ecosystem in France.

2 areas of application are targeted in this program: cardiovascular diseases and neurological disorders.

Research is divided into 17 scientific projects, built around 4 priority programs:

  1. developing new digital methods for multi-scale analysis of healthcare data;
  2. overcome the technical and socio-demographic challenges of personalized, multi-scale healthcare data uses;
  3. develop applications in the cardiovascular field;
  4. and develop applications in the field of neurosciences.

The event took place at PariSanté Campus, with the research teams.
