Care d'Alsace, a third-party experimentation center for digital healthcare, is launching its 2024 call for projects to meet the challenges associated with the use of your solution.

Care d'Alsace launches its call for projects!

CARE d'ALSACE aims to improve citizens' commitment to digital health, with citizens coming from all walks of life, such as patients, healthcare professionals and medico-social players. The use of solutions must be taken into account very early on, as a determining parameter in the success of digital health innovation. ALSACE's CARE program aims to meet these expectations by including users in the innovation process, from idea to market launch, using a usage-based approach.

The Tiers-lieu CARE d'Alsace is made up of different entities, namely:

  • Biovalley France ;
  • OpenCare Lab ;
  • the University Hospitals of Strasbourg;
  • UGECAM Alsace;
  • CPTS Mossig & Vignoble ;
  • La Maison Sport Santé de Strasbourg ;
  • France Asso Santé Grand Est ;
  • Health Factory ;
  • the ANAP.

The 2024 call for projects, aims to identify innovations with high potential impact.

These innovations could have an impact on:

  • prevention;
  • prediction;
  • diagnosis;follow-up;
  • treatment;

The present call for projects focuses exclusively on challenges related to usage. Care d'Alsace advocates the active participation of users and healthcare professionals in the innovation and experimentation process, in order to best understand and identify their needs and expectations.

Scope of the call for projects

The co-construction and/or evaluation of innovative solutions by involving end-users (healthcare professionals, patients) at different stages of technology development (needs analysis, design/ideation, prototyping, deployment) and in several evaluation fields excluding clinical intervention research (need, usability, ergonomics, cognition, organizational, economic or psychological impact, sociology, user experience...).

Objectives of the call for projects

  • Identify innovative technologies with high potential in digital health.
  • Accompany promising digital health solutions that meet the thematic axes of the tiers lieu (see specifications).
  • Experiment with digital solutions in terms of use and acceptability within the experimentation grounds responding to identified and relevant needs.

Expected maturity level

  • At the end of experimentation.
  • The project must achieve a minimum TRL of 8.

  2. Submit your project proposal by April 05, 2024, 12:00 to the following email address innovation@biovalley-france.com with acknowledgement of receipt.
