Université de Paris, the Fondation Université de Paris and Bpifrance, via its Fonds Patient Autonome and the Hub Healthtech, are joining forces to create an incubator for digital health entrepreneurs, in order to foster and accelerate innovations in this field.

The Incubateur d'Entrepreneurs en Santé Numérique: a new incubation model
. The Incubator offers an innovative support model built around the CEO to accompany him/her in the development of his/her project, by proposing formats centered around people (individual coaching, intimate workshops) and by federating all the players in the digital health value chain.

The Digital Health Entrepreneur Incubator: a new incubation model
.

The Incubator's objectives:

• Accelerate the change of scale and strengthen the competitive advantage of their companies through collaboration & mentoring between selected leaders and the Incubator Community (digital healthcare market manufacturers, mature startups, institutions, healthcare establishments, academics and students)
• Create more networking between healthcare professionals (city and hospital) and innovators (entrepreneurs and industrialists) to fine-tune the solution to their needs,
• Be in touch with societal reality, respond to the needs of the moment and pay particular attention to training students in management so that they become entrepreneurs.
• The Incubator aims to support, over a 6-month period, a class of 5 managers who have created their company with a product nearing completion.

It is committed to providing entrepreneurs with:

• the time, know-how and experience of the mentors and community members who will lead the coaching formats
• Bpifrance's know-how in innovation support, its healthcare network and its communication power

• the healthcare expertise of Université de Paris: facilitating experimentation through its network of partner hospitals and confronting innovations with the reality of medical needs
• the Incubator Community's network of entrepreneurs, industrialists, start-ups, institutions and healthcare establishments

• Incubated entrepreneurs are expected to make a reciprocal commitment: to get involved in the support formats offered, to maintain a regular and transparent exchange with the Incubator team (in particular with the mentor), to be an active contributor to the Incubator and the Community for the duration of their support and thereafter.

It should also be noted that beyond the provision of resources, the Incubator's offer does not include systematic financing (whether non-dilutive or in capital), nor physical hosting of selected projects.
