The call for projects "Evaluation of the medical and/or economic benefit of digital or artificial intelligence-based medical devices" is a benchmark action of the "Digital Health" acceleration strategy, initially launched as part of the Grand Défi IA & Santé.
It aims to provide financial support for projects in the clinical evaluation of their benefits. This evaluation is intended to enable submission of a dossier for assessment by the HAS, or support a medico-economic model with a view to purchase by a healthcare establishment.

This call for projects has been extended with the DM plan's call for projects "Demonstrating the clinical and medico-economic value of innovative equipment medical devices".
The merger into a single call for projects offers greater visibility with the ecosystem and enables funding to be amplified.
