The Health Data Hub, in partnership with the Délégation au Numérique en Santé (DNS) and the Agence de l'Innovation en Santé (AIS) attached to the Secrétariat Général pour l'Investissement, will support three new Data Challenges in 2023, bringing to 10 the number of challenges supported since 2020.
The call for projects closed inNovember 2022.
Focus on the 3 new winners
These projects have been selected because of the interest of the clinical question and the relevance of the predictive approach they propose.
The Health Data Hub's Data Challenge team will support these three winners throughout their projects:
- The CYTOLOGIA project aims to develop an artificial intelligence solution based on a very large database of images of normal and pathological leukocytes from blood smears. This project is supported by the Groupe Francophone d'Hématologies Cellulaires.
- The Annitia project, from IHU ICAN, focuses on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NALFD). This disease is characterized by an excessive accumulation of fat in the liver, and is thought to affect 25% of the population. The aim of this project is to stratify the risk of progression of the disease by modeling the evolution of patients' state of health, and thus offer them personalized care, as close as possible to their needs.
- The CardI-HACK project, supported by ICAN HHI, aims to combine detailed genetic and clinical data and use artificial intelligence solutions to make progress towards precision medicine. The aim is to identify new bioclinical scores capable of better predicting the prognosis of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathies (HCM). This solution would make it possible to combat the occurrence of these hereditary diseases with serious consequences: heart failure and/or sudden death in young people.
In addition to financial support, the Health Data Hub provides organizational, legal, technical and logistical assistance in the various stages of setting up the competition.
