The American Hospital aims to promote solutions addressing the various dimensions of prevention:

• the primary prevention which acts upstream of the disease;
• the secondary prevention which acts at an early stage of its evolution;
• the tertiary prevention which acts on complications and the risk of recurrence.

In particular, they should integrate one or more of the key actions of prevention such as:

• Involve patients and their loved ones and make them actors in their health;
• Detect fragilities or risk factors;
• Evaluate individual risks as a function of age and lifestyle, in order to propose more appropriate preventive actions;
• Optimize follow-up of chronic patients at home.

• The December 4, 2023: pitch to a jury;
• January 2024: start of support.
