AI & Healthcare: Innovation at the Heart of Care
Innovation
Schedule
The "AI & Healthcare" innovation challenges are once again on the agenda for the third edition of the "AI & Healthcare Forum: Innovation at the Heart of Care."
Following the 2024 and 2025 editions, which brought together nearly 400 students, healthcare professionals, researchers, companies, and other innovators, the event returns for its third edition.
Objective: To continue strengthening ties and building a community around AI applied to healthcare in the Caen la Mer region and more broadly across Normandy.
This gathering will be an opportunity to highlight projects by Master’s students in Computer Science specializing in “Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Health” and “Artificial Intelligence and Human Factors.” It will also showcase local innovations through pitches by innovative companies and inspiring talks.
As part of this event, approximately forty second-year Master’s students in Computer Science at the University of Caen Normandy will present the results of their collaborative work, based on data from various sectors of the healthcare industry.
The students will subsequently present their findings at the “AI & Health: Innovation at the Heart of Care” event, to be held in Caen on November 26, 2026.
Whether your project stems from research, real-world practice (healthcare, medical-social services, sports, animal health), or digital and industrial development in healthcare, this challenge is the catalyst to transform your concepts into concrete solutions. To carry out these projects, students will be able to use anonymized data (structured or unstructured, such as images, text, or heterogeneous databases) that you are willing to share.
If you do not have data, simply share your challenges or use cases. Students will be able to work using public databases to design and train algorithms capable of addressing your real-world challenges.
Application deadline: June 12, 2026
