The Tiers Lieu service offering
The TLE offers a range of services to help project leaders experiment, evaluate in real life, and develop economically:
- A single point of entry created, easily identifiable for industrialists, to facilitate project leaders' access to business expertise, support services, and relevant field partners.
- A broad range of turnkey services to accelerate the development of technologies adapted to care coordination issues and communication disorders, particularly in terms of digital accessibility, and thus target project developers' issues, in line with user needs, such as: Matching needs - market / Co-construction of experiments / Business model support / Project engineering support / Real-life solution evaluation / Investigation on the human person.
- The solution provider supported by TLE may also benefit from support services to facilitate market access, around protection of results (patents), applications for CE marking, applications for reimbursement, but also around marketing support for the tested solution (eg: co-construction of user training courses to help users get to grips with the solution), around the promotion of the results of the experiment, but also networking through various events aimed at facilitating the deployment and marketing of the solution.
- Developments of digital solutions validated in real life that will contribute to the economic development of the e-health - communication sector and the growth of the market for care coordination solutions, with a solid business model and well-defined market access.
All of these services in the TLE service package will be delivered thanks to the business expertise of each consortium member and each member's contacts within regional and national networks, with a view to promoting the dissemination of the technology developed.
Tiers lieu projects
Project: Disempowered communication
Supplier: WYES
Solution: Wyes First is a pair of connected glasses that acts as a controller for a digital communication device, to amplify the communicative autonomy of people deprived of oral expression (Charcot disease, myopathies, invasive respiratory assistance ..).
Need : The multilateral communication process in healthcare is subject to strong medical, technical or emotional constraints, which can hamper the efficient transmission of information and accentuate the patient's vulnerability, to the point of impacting on care. The aim is to offer an adapted, easy-to-use solution enabling dyscommunicative people (disabled and in intensive care) to exchange with those around them (carers, families and peers).
Contribution of the Tiers-Lieu : The TLE ACCES CVL offers a diversity and complementarity of fields, and brings a strong capacity to mobilize healthcare professionals and patients, users, to initiate a regional and then nationalaiming. ACCES CVL will provide access to the CHRU's technical platforms and the Usetech'Lab's simulation room, to globally offer interdisciplinary synergy around care.
Project: BBalance
Supplier : MATEO
Solution : The digital medical device is a smart mat that collects patient balance data in a score. Its aim is to enable nursing staff to easily, regularly and reproducibly monitor patients' balance and weight.
Need : The main cause of loss of independence in the elderly is falls. In order to prevent and improve the care of the frail elderly, the French National Authority for Health recommends frequent measurement and monitoring of weight and balance markers. The need therefore rests on the measurement of a reliable, rapid, accessible to all caregivers, easily reproducible balance marker.
Tiers-Lieu contribution : The TLE ACCES-CVL offers access to expertise pluridisciplinary : geriatricians, physiotherapists, geriatric health professionals, sociologists, etc.., to carry out a project in different fields and with complementary evaluations. TLE's service offering will also enable us to continue accompanying the solution provider towards market access.
