• Strengthening France's strategic advantage in terms of quality databases, artificial intelligence (AI) and embedded technologies in particular.
• Decompartmentalizing the silos that are holding back innovation in healthcare (incorporation of innovation facilitated into care pathways, single point of contact for start-ups).
• Responding to financing issues, including new experiments in hospital incubators.
• The use of public purchasing as a factor in stimulating innovation.
• The accessibility of the French market (ensuring that patients and professionals can benefit from innovations developed in France).
• A training offer adapted to new challenges.

Call for expressions of interest (AMI)

In line with the public consultation launched recently, the government now wishes to identify players and their projects on French territory through a call for expressions of interest (AMI).

The AMI has two main objectives:

• Inform the construction of the strategy by proposing both projects ready for funding and more forward-looking projects likely to be supported under future calls for projects;
• Identify the players involved and gather their project proposals on French territory.

It is primarily aimed at companies, alone or in association with research laboratories, healthcare establishments, and healthcare structures (coordination, medico-social) supporting these companies. The results of the AMI will provide the most exhaustive vision possible to configure future national support schemes for the next five years.

This call for expressions of interest is open until June 16, 2021, with an intermediate relief.
