Third party DIGIMENTALLY
Supported by the Centre Hospitalier Le Vinatier
DIGIMENTALLY is a Third-Party Experimentation Center dedicated to fostering the emergence and development of end-user-friendly digital innovations in mental health. It aims to experiment in real-life conditions with digital solutions and services in the fields of care, prevention, early identification, recovery, disability and social inclusion.
The Third-Place service offering
DIGIMENTALLY is a one-stop shop offering a service common to all three consortium members: various experimental sites and innovative methodologies (co-conception and co-design, user-centered design, iterative process, etc.).
DIGIMENTALLY's ambition is to offer 360 support to project leaders, in particular by fostering links with the key players and resources needed for the successful development of the digital solution.
More specifically, the core of DIGIMENTALLY's support focuses on the co-conception / co-design and experimentation phases of digital tools with end-users, with a view to leading to the prototyping of solutions, the improvement of products or the development of new functionalities. The aim of this approach is to design digital solutions tailored to end-users' needs and expectations.
In parallel, DIGIMENTALLY can provide regulatory support and expertise on clinical evaluations, drawing in particular on the skills of CH le Vinatier's Clinical Research and Innovation Department. The Tiers lieu can also accompany project leaders in their search for funding, partners and suppliers. Various events will also be organized as part of DIGIMENTALLY to encourage collective emulation and networking with the three consortium members' extensive network of partners.
Tiers lieu d'expérimentation projects
Project 1: REQUEST
Supplier : CH le Vinatier
Solution : REQUEST is an e-CRF solution that aims to systematize clinical assessments of patients with psychiatric disorders.
Need : this solution has three main objectives:
- Assist with diagnosis and initial assessment (in particular via the questionnaire for initial assessment, completed by the doctor or nurse);
- Giving patients the power to act (in particular via the self-questionnaire completed by patients);
- Advance psychiatric research by producing structured clinical data for each patient, directly usable by researchers.
DIGIMENTALLY contribution: support involving experimentation of the solution developed with professionals at CH le Vinatier in order to evolve the solution to meet the expectations and needs of future end users as closely as possible.
Project 2: EMOCARE
Supplier: start-up EMOCARE
Solution: EMOCARE aims to improve the use of somatic care for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Need : this prevention and inclusion solution aims to co-construct and provide digital awareness and training materials including:
- A support to raise awareness among healthcare professionals (in town or hospital) of how to take into account the particularities of children with ASD, during somatic care management. This open-source educational content will integrate 3D immersive scene software to put professionals in situations and facilitate awareness and learning;
- A digital training aid based on immersive 3D situations to support children with ASD and their parents in accepting and accessing somatic care.
DIGIMENTALLY contribution: support focusing on the second component and aims to experiment with the solution developed with families of ASD children with a view to further co-designing the solution with the professionals and people concerned, based on a design thinking methodology and continuous, iterative experimentation.
