The Tiers Lieu service offering

JINNOV brings together a collective of players who share the desire to create bridges within the healthcare system by grouping together on a territorial scale:

  • All the players involved in healthcare pathways: from health, social and medico-social services;
  • The full range of care pathways: from medicine - surgery - obstetrics to psychiatry - mental health via the elderly, from outpatient to critical care;
  • Health system users, increasingly involved in their own health.

The support program offered by JINNOV is comprehensive. Thus, in collaboration with its expert partners, the third place offers access to a range of services to support project leaders in their maturation.

Tiers Lieu projects

Project 1: UMP-C - Connected post-emergency medicine unit

Supplier : Hoppen

Need: In the emergency department, increasing activity and the need for complementary examinations are generating longer throughput times. There is currently no alternative to observation in the emergency department or hospitalization while waiting for further tests or diagnosis.

Solution : A connected post-emergency medicine unit promoting the return home of patients presenting to the emergency department, by integrating the use of connected objects (blood pressure monitor, thermometer, ECG, connected watches) to facilitate their continuous monitoring. Patients are monitored remotely, and benefit from teleconsultations and even remote expertise if required.

Tiers Lieu's contribution :

  • Coordination of the experimentation project
  • Co-design of the prototype in line with user needs
  • Evaluation: patient acceptability, professional satisfaction, medico-economic evaluation

Project 2: LO3D

Supplier: UVASC LAB
.
Need: Today, lymphedema treatment consists of returning lymph to the vessels with the help of the physiotherapist, who performs manual lymph drainage, pressotherapy and the permanent wearing of medical compression orthoses. The main evaluation criterion is volume reduction, which can be as much as 50% of the initial volume after one week of intensive phase re-education, so it is essential to be able to measure this before and after treatment. This is followed by a maintenance phase of rehabilitation. The physiotherapist uses a tape measure to take these time-consuming measurements.

Solution : Digital twin using a smartphone and mobile app to save time and get rid of the tape measure.

Third-Party Contribution:

  • Experimental project coordination
  • Evaluation of patient and caregiver acceptability
  • Accompaniment with CE marking and market access
