What are Tiers-Lieux d'Expérimentation en santé (TLE)?
The TLEs are consortia, generally led by healthcare structures.
Pushed by the France 2030 program, 37 TLEs are developing a service offering aimed at carriers of innovative digital healthcare solutions.
The TLEs help holders of innovative digital solutions to "de-risk" their project. By securing the use/acceptability of the solution by future users, its technical and regulatory compliance, and its economic model, TLEs maximize the chances of meeting its market.
I have a project. How can I get in touch with the Tiers-Lieux d'Expérimentation en santé (TLE)?
The main mission of a TLE is to help you de-risk your project and maximize the chances of your solution meeting its market.
To achieve this, the TLE offers project leaders a range of services, à la carte, enabling you to :
- Co-design your solution with professionals and users;
- Test, in real life, your solution and its ability to meet the expectations and usage constraints of professionals and users ;
- Evaluate the clinical and medico-economic benefits of your solution;
- Get guidance on the technical or regulatory specifics specific to the healthcare field;
- Get guidance on financing and market access procedures...
Thanks to the consortium formed by TLE, you will have access to:
- Your future users and beneficiaries (healthcare professionals, users) ;
- Your future customers(healthcare facility management) ;
- Specialized expertise(medical expertise, market expertise, regulatory expertise, technical expertise...) ;
- A actor recognized for the methodological quality of its experiments and evaluations, which will enable you to make the most of their results.
I have a project. How can I work with a TLE?
Each TLE has its own organization, its own processes but all pursue the same objective: to support you in the design, testing and market access of your solution.
- You can find out more about each of the TLEs (priority healthcare themes, consortium composition, expertise, service offering...) from G_NIUS ;
- You can get in touch with the TLE that interest you, still from G_NIUS ;
- The TLEs will offer you à la carte services, depending on your specific needs and the maturity of your solution;
- The TLEs' services are generally chargeable.
Are you a healthcare professional or user interested in contributing to a TLE? Don't hesitate to ask them to take part in the experiments run by TLEs!
At what stage of my project should I contact you?
You can request a TLE at any stage of your project, from idea to commercialization, and for example:
- Ideation phase (TRL 0-1) : in order to innovate and get inspired by being as close as possible to users' needs;
- Feasibility study (TRL 2-3): in order to master the project's stakes by consulting stakeholders;
- Advanced development/test and evaluation phase (TRL 4-5): in order to co-design and test the prototype or solution in real-life conditions;
- Trial phase and proof of concept/experimentation (TRL 6-7): in order to validate the solution's impact and its implementation in real-life situations.
- Production / commercialization phase (TRL 8-9): to further evaluate the solution and further adapt it to users' contexts of use.
