What is the Caisse Nationale de Solidarité pour l'Autonomie (CNSA)?
The Caisse nationale de solidarité pour l'autonomie (CNSA) is the fund managing the Autonomie branch of the Social Security system.
Missions
- Support the autonomy of the elderly and disabled by contributing to the financing of individual aid paid to people, as well as to the financing of the establishments and services that accompany them;
- Animize the network of local players in autonomy (maisons départementales des personnes handicapées, departmental councils and regional health agencies - ARS);

- Implement digital projects of national scope, such as the Programme ESMS numérique, the Programme SI-APA...The ESMS numériques program aims to generalize the use of digital technology in medico-social and social establishments and services (ESSMS) via the deployment of the computerized user file (DUI).
