What is Medicen Paris Region?

Medicen Paris Region, created in 2005, is the healthcare competitiveness cluster in the Paris region, bringing together over 500 players in healthcare innovation. It drives the Medtech, Biotech and E-health ecosystems, and supports the various healthcare players by meeting their needs. Bringing together 45% of the French ecosystem, Medicen cooperates with international bioclusters and 5 other healthcare clusters for synergy on a national scale.

Missions

As a competitive cluster, Medicen's mission is to transform scientific innovation into therapeutic value for patients, economic value, industrial processes and jobs. In order to support its members and help their projects grow, Medicen has three levers of action:

  • Foster the emergence of research and innovation projects;
  • Accompany the growth of startups and SMEs in France and internationally;
  • Orienting project leaders towards the right financing windows, public or private.

  • Access to a unique network of over 500 members (SMEs, academics, ETIs, major groups): Find your industrial partner (SME, ETI, Major Group), Find your clinical partner (APHP, Foch, Saint Joseph, etc..)
  • A team of expert project managers covering the entire healthcare perimeter: the 3 sectors (Biotech, Medtech and e-health);
  • Challenge and strategic advice on your project;
  • Guidance to the right financing counter;
  • Helping you with your international development thanks to our dedicated European and international project managers and our partnerships with strange clusters, Eit-Health, etc...

At what stage of my project should I contact Medicen?

Medicen supports entrepreneurs at every stage of the project: from the upstream idea through to your development in Europe and internationally.

Do I have to pay for Medicen's services?

Medicen Paris Region, as a competitive cluster, is an association under the French law of 1901 at the service of its members. Membership is therefore required to benefit from the cluster's actions and services. Certain services offered to our members may be subject to a fee.

What is the Medicen label and how can I benefit from it?

The "Medicen Paris Région" label confers enhanced credibility in the healthcare sector, particularly with public funders. Thanks to this label, you benefit from an increased success rate of 40%.

To benefit from this label, simply contact Medicen (projet@medicen.org) to obtain a slot in front of the cluster's committee of experts, who will challenge your project on its scientific and business aspects.

Digital Health Roadmap: how can the Digital Health sector help you?

  • Do you want to develop your network and get involved in the industry? As a member, you can not only find the right partners to develop winning collaborations, but also participate and pass on your field feedback to your industry manager to fuel discussions with public players.
  • Would you like to find a hospital partner to test your solution? As a member, you can take part in the Innov'up Expérimentation program to co-construct your innovative project with a partner hospital facility under real-life conditions.
  • Would you like to get involved in the thinking and use of digital solutions? You'll be able to help draw up a study on the panorama of existing digital solutions, be part of a focus group centered on the use and adoption of digital solutions in France, but also benefit from discounts and take part in major events dedicated to 6P medicine.

What is ENOSIS?

Enosis Santé was founded in 2022 by 4 French healthcare clusters. The association's aim is to intensify synergies between these clusters to accelerate healthtech innovation, support innovative companies and strengthen French leadership in the healthcare sector. Enosis Santé works in close collaboration with regional players in healthcare innovation and the French government to link territorial actions to the structuring of national strategic sectors.
