• Federate all regional expertise and lead a gerontology network: researchers, academics, PUPHs, user associations, entrepreneurs, the homecare and medico-social sectors, users, healthcare professionals, etc.
• Dynamize and support innovation co-constructed with users and professionals in the sector via support for project leaders and companies.
• Promote interventional, collaborative and participatory research projects in the territory and enrich knowledge responding to the challenges of demographic transition.
• Promote local initiatives, communicate with the general public, evaluate and support the dissemination of convincing solutions.
• Accompany local and regional authorities, carry out territorial diagnoses and support public policy decision-making in terms of preventing and dealing with loss of autonomy.
• Mobilize multidisciplinary expertise through its scientific committee and its mixed study approach (qualitative/quantitative/modeling).
• Act in terms of the attractiveness of professions in old age, via training in particular.
