What is the Direction Générale des Entreprises?

In the service of the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Economic Recovery, the Direction générale des Entreprises (DGE) designs and implements public policies contributing to the development of businesses.

Missions

Within the Directorate General for Enterprise, the Health, Consumer Goods and Agrifood Industries Sub-Directorate (SDISBCA) proposes, implements and evaluates policies relating to the health (pharmaceutical industry, technologies for health, associated industries or services), fashion, luxury and consumer goods industries. It participates in the Comité Economique des Produits de Santé (Economic Committee for Healthcare Products) and in initiatives to regulate healthcare spending.

For the ISBCA Sub-Directorate, the main healthcare projects are:

  • Relocalization of healthcare industries;
  • Building a Europe of healthcare industries;
  • Digital health;
  • Bioproduction in healthcare;
  • Medical devices plan;
  • Health data ecosystem;

These projects evolve in line with health and economic priorities and are subject to reconfiguration.

The Directorate General for Enterprise has a team specialized in the healthcare industries within its industry department. This team has a role in steering public policies and not in providing individualized support for project leaders.
We invite you to first contact the regional services (DREETS) for more personalized support on a project of regional scope or in the process of maturing.

At what stage of my project should I contact you?

For projects at the idea, prototype or validation stage, we invite you to contact your local DREETS.

The DGE's specialized healthcare industries team will be the relevant contact only for projects at the industrialization stage and of national or European scope. The project managers are:

Yes, but only via operators (BPIfrance for example) who manage calls for projects (I-nov competition, PSPC, AMI digital health, ...).
