What is Business France?

Business France is responsible for the international development of French companies, international investment in France and the economic promotion of France. With a team of 1,500 professionals in France and 70 offices abroad, Business France supports French and international companies from the very beginning to the end of their projects. As such, it is a founding member of Team France Export, a public scheme that brings together all the solutions offered by Business France, the Regions, government departments, CCIs and Bpifrance.

Missions

The 4 main missions of Business France are:

  • Accompany French companies, particularly SMEs and ETIs in their international development (prioritizing markets, finding partners, understanding regulations, setting up operations, etc.);
  • Prospectand welcome foreign investors to France;
  • Promote the attractiveness and economic image of France, its companies and its territories;
  • Manage and develop the Volontariat International en Entreprises (V.I.E).

Business France also carries the French Healthcare brand, an initiative supported by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Healthcare Association and Business France that brings together, under a common banner, all French healthcare players (companies, researchers, healthcare professionals, public players, etc.) with the aim of promoting their activities, expertise, technologies and innovations internationally.

Business France mobilizes its expertise in international markets and the healthcare sector, as well as its network of contacts and close relations with the diplomatic network to help you develop your export business. Our services include (but are not limited to):

  • The understanding of the potential and keys to accessing international markets (country regulations for health product approval, local public health policies, etc.);
  • The prospecting and qualification of potential partners (distributors, investors, etc.) which can involve individualized support or through collective events (trade shows such as CES, BIO, Medica, Arab Health, key account meetings, immersion "Booster" missions such as the Next French Healthcare program organized each year in the United States with bpifrance, etc.
