What is Business France?

Business France is the public consulting company serving theinternationalization of the French economy. It is responsible for the international development of companies and their exports, as well as for prospecting and welcoming foreign investment in France.

It promotes the attractiveness and economic image of France, its companies and its territories. It manages and develops the Programme V.I.E (Volontariat International en Entreprise). Business France has more than 1,400 employees located in France and in 53 countries.

In 2024, Business France's support helped generate1.8 billion euros in additional export sales for French SMEs, representing more than 31,010 jobs created or planned. Business France has supported 66% of the 1,688 foreign investment decisions in 2024, representing 69% of the 37,787 jobs created or maintained in France over the next 3 years.

🎯 Missions

The 4 main missions of Business France are:

  • Support,in the long term, the international development of French companies and established in France, especially ETIs and SMEs growth.
  • Promote the French sectors of excellence and industries of the future, serving competitiveness and innovation.
  • Accompany the internationalization of French companies and young people by developing the V.I.E program (Volontariat International en Entreprise).
  • Prospectand attract to France foreign investment that creates value and jobs, welcome and support international talent.
  • Valorize the economic image of France, its companies and its territories.

Business France also carries the French Healthcare brand, an initiative supported by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Healthcare Association and Business France that brings together, under a common banner, all French healthcare players (companies, researchers, healthcare professionals, public players, etc.) with the aim of promoting their activities, expertise, technologies and innovations internationally.
