Opening of the "Tiers lieux d'experimentation" call for projects

25/02/2022

As part of France 2030,the "Santé numérique" acceleration strategy is launching an ambitious call for AAP projects, with a budget of €63 million. Its aim is to fund third places to address the lack of experimental sites, one of the main limitations identified to the development of the digital health sector during the public consultation to prefigure the acceleration strategy carried out in the first quarter of 2021.

All healthcare structures (healthcare or medico-social, public or private, city or institutional) as well as innovation players (integrating a healthcare or medico-social structure) can apply to become "Experimentation Third Places". 30 third places will thus be selected between 2022 and 2024, according to 3 successive waves of calls for projects that will be operated by the Banque des Territoires on behalf of the State.
These Third Places will be funded to:

  • Test the use of new digital healthcare services in real life and benefit from user feedback (impact, acceptability, ergonomics, etc.);
  • Conduct user needs studies;
  • Measure the medico-economic benefits of the solutions tested;
  • Accompany the deployment and market access of solutions that have proven their impact;
  • Associate the professionals and people concerned in the co-design of solutions.

The Third-Party Experimentation Sites selected by this AAP will have access to two financial envelopes:

  • An envelope dedicated to running the Third-Party Experimentation Site;
  • A specific envelope enabling them to co-finance the experimentation of digital solutions.

100 experiments are targeted by 2025.
