The European Commission has just announced a new call for proposals focused on integrating cloud-based artificial intelligence into the healthcare sector.

Funded projects must meet two specific objectives: analyzing medical imaging data (MRI, CT scans, X-rays, ultrasounds) and automatically identifying abnormalities to assist healthcare professionals.

Specifically, these pilot projects aim to speed up diagnosis, relieve the burden on radiology departments, and improve access to screening in underserved areas.

Application deadline: October 1, 2026. 

Applicants are asked to pay close attention to the security restrictions governing this call, which require a preliminary eligibility check based on the applicant’s country of origin.
