These 10 new winners complete a list of 6 initial winners announced in April 2023

Launched in July 2022, the France 2030 call for projects (AAP) "Accompanying and supporting the constitution of hospital healthcare data warehouses" is steered by the DGOS and operated by Bpifrance with the support of the Health Data Hub.

Its objective is twofold:

  • construct and consolidate healthcare data warehouses (EDS) in healthcare facilities;
  • in the long term, to set up a national network promoting the production and seamless sharing of healthcare data, as well as its exploitation between public and private players in research and innovation.

The planned budget for this scheme is €75 million, including €40 million from France 2030 funds and €35 million from ONDAM, to finance the winning projects in the two waves.

Selected by a jury of healthcare data experts, the ten winners of wave 2 of this call for projects were chosen for the relevance and potential of their projects:

  • The AnDH (Antilles Data Hub) project led by the Centre Hospitalier Régional Universitaire (CHR/U) de la Martinique in partnership with that of Guadeloupe (Creation and consolidation of 2 health data warehouses)
  • The D2H - DATAHUBHOURAA2 project led by the Groupement de Coopération Sanitaire des CHU de Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble, Lyon et Saint-Etienne (Implementation of the EDS of the CHR/U of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and a shared data exchange platform)
  • The DATA4HEALTH2 project led by GCS G4 - Groupement de Coopération Sanitaire des CHR/U d'Amiens, Caen, Lille et Rouen (Structuring an inter-regional platform with networking of 4 EDS)
  • Le projet E-CONFLUENCE des Centres Hospitaliers Intercommunaux de Créteil et de Villeneuve Saint Georges (Création d'un entrepôt de données de santé commun en center hospitalier)
  • The EDGAR 2030 project led by Hôpital Foch in partnership with the Saint-Joseph Marseille private community interest establishments, Hôpital Européen de Marseille, Institut Montsouris and Institut Catholique de Lille (Structuring an inter-regional platform with networking of 5 data warehouses)
  • Le projet EDS ELSAN porté par Groupement de Coopération Sanitaire ELSAN pour la recherche, l'enseignement et l'innovation (Constitution d'un EDS centralisant les données des 140 établissements de santé ELSAN)
  • The EDS GHU PARIS project of the Groupe Hospitalier Universitaire Paris - Psychiatry and Neuroscience (Creation of a health data warehouse for research in psychiatry & neuroscience)
  • The EDS MEDITERRANEE project for Health Research and Excellence led by the Nice CHR/U in partnership with that of APHM Marseille, the CLCC Institut Paoli Calmettes and Lacassagne and the Nice CHU-Lenval pediatric hospitals (creation and consolidation of 5 EDS and a shared platform).
  • The HD4C project led by the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Reims with its partners the CHU/R Maison Blanche, the Épernay, Chalons en Champagne and Saint-Léon en côte basque hospital centers, the Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal Nord-Ardennes and the Établissement Public de Santé Mentale de la Marne (Network of 7 hospital medical-psychiatric and city data warehouses)
  • Le projet Health Data 3OI - Données de santé en Occitanie Ouest et Océan Indien porté par le porté par le Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Toulouse en partenariat avec le CHR/U de la Réunion (Constitution d'un réseau d'Entrepôts de Données de Santé fédéré)

These 10 new prizewinners ensure a substantial territorial coverage, complementing that of the first wave of the call for projects. 6 winning projects had been awarded in March 2023 (the ACCESS projects led by APHP, EDEN4HEALTH led by CHU de Reims, EDOL by CHU de Montpellier, EDSNOVA by CHU de Bordeaux, ODH led by CHU de Rennes and ONCODS by Unicancer, with their respective partners).

A total of 16 winning projects are rewarded, involving 54 partners in the consortia, called on to build the territorial network, made up of 62 EDSs.
