A look back at the Ile de France stage of the SASN Tour de France

The Tour de France de la stratégie d'accélération "Santé numérique" kicked off with a first stop in Ile de France: a round table on February 1 at PariSanté Campus on the theme of training; and meetings with the innovation and research ecosystem on February 3 on the plateau de Saclay.
Training day at PariSanté Campus
The players in digital health training got together on February 1 to talk about digital health and the actions implemented as part of SASN. Over 500 participants logged on for this 1st event!
Indeed, training is the bedrock of the strategy. A substantial budget of €81M is devoted to it through four complementary and synergistic measures:
- Provide all students in post-baccalaureate healthcare professions with digital health training, enabling them to acquire the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to the increasing digitization of their professional practices, and support the transformation of the healthcare system through digital technology;
- Significantly increase the proportion of digital health specialists involved in IT development, legal affairs, evaluation, and the management of health and medico-social establishments;
- Train citizens and patients in digital health issues to increase the acceptability of digital transformations and reinforce accessibility for all;
- Increase the professional attractiveness of certain digital health professions in short supply.

Accompanying the transition and creation of digital health training through the AMI CMA. The first round table was dedicated to the AMI CMA in progress. The next round is scheduled for February 28. On the digital health theme, it is endowed with €71M.
It aims to finance the implementation of digital health training in health universities and institutes, but also to increase the proportion of specialists via dedicated training paths (lawyers, engineers, ...).

Constructing a universal reference framework for digital healthcare. A cross-cutting, core skills repository is currently being drafted by a working group made up of representatives from the ecoystème (universities, students, ministries). This repository is intended to integrate essential skills linked to digital health into the training curriculum of all healthcare and medico-social professionals.
A specific progress report was produced as part of the 2nd RT. Note that this repository covers skills relating to the following areas in particular: health data, cybersecurity, health communication, digital health tools and telehealth.

Assessing digital health skills with Pix Pro Santé. "Pix is a non-profit structure constituted as a Public Interest Group with the mission of supporting the raising of the general level of digital skills." As part of this, a Pix Pro Santé tool is being developed to assess the skills defined by the unique digital health repository. a demonstration was given of the assessment tool that could be mobilized to assess skills.
Promote continuing education in digital health. The "Digital Health" acceleration strategy targets both initial and continuing training in digital health. A diagnosis of the training offer has been carried out and dedicated actions are underway, such as including digital health as a priority theme for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Promoting the skills and professions of the future at hospitals in digital health. A focus was placed on the skills and professions of the future at hospitals in digital health, through feedback between the hospital federation of France and the AP-HP.

The day closed with a speech (revisit the round table) by Laura Létourneau, Ministerial Delegate for Digital Health. Several government plans have been put in place to anticipate the future and consolidate a fast-growing industry:
Rencontres de Saclay
The "Digital Health" Acceleration Strategy's Tour de France meetings with the ecosystem kicked off at the Playground Paris-Saclay on the Saclay plateau to address the topics of start-ups, scientific research and technology transfer in digital health.
This was an opportunity to present the strategy, which is part of the various France 2030, France Relance and future investment program n°4 (PIA4) plans.
Emblematic institutional players in the ecosystem were present, such as national research organizations the Université Paris-Saclay, the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, not forgetting the SATT Paris-Saclay who warmly welcomed us.
Many start-ups, major industrial groups (pharmaceutical companies, medical devices), incubators and La French Tech Paris Saclay also took part and shared their vision of the field in workshops to discuss their expectations of the strategy and the issues they face.
The day ended with a tour of the CEA List and a presentation of projects at the forefront of digital healthcare.
