The Tiers Lieu service offering

INH Lab, a nationally ambitious Tiers-Lieu for experimentation in Digital Health in the field of Disability and Autonomy. It is made up of 5 complementary partners:

  • 2 innovation centers: the CoWork'HIT (coordinator) and Biotech Santé Bretagne;
  • 3 care and rehabilitation centers (SMR centers): the Kerpape center, the ILDYS Foundation and the Saint-Hélier Foundation, each leading ecosystems in their territory, covering players in the care, medico-social, liberal and user sectors (people with disabilities, caregivers).

Organized as a one-stop shop, INH Lab supports digital health projects addressing all types of disability and all ages across the entire care pathway. As a Tiers-lieu for experimentation it enables:

  • the feedback of needs not covered by healthcare professionals or people with disabilities (PSH), elderly people (PA) or in loss of autonomy,
  • the testing of digital solutions in real life to ensure that they meet the needs of users (PSH, PA or person in loss of autonomy, caregivers or healthcare professionals) and that they can be easily implemented in a care or life path
  • accelerating the development and deployment of these solutions, with the aim of transforming care and medico-social organizations.

To achieve this, INH Lab offers a comprehensive, à la carte range of services to support the process from experimentation to market:

Real-life experiments :

  • Needs studies: interviews, surveys, focus groups with professionals and/or users (PSH, PA, people losing their autonomy, caregivers);
  • Usage tests (evaluation of the acceptability, ergonomics, usability .. of a solution), co-design in living lab mode;
  • Single or multi-center clinical studies: feasibility studies, pivotal studies, clinical investigation with a view to CE marking, post-market studies...with adapted methodologies (e.g. SCED: Single Case Experimental Design).

Accompanying support :

  • Targeted watch (technology/market)
  • Analysis of your project's maturity using Concept Maturity Level (CML) methodology to best define your road map;
  • Identification of positioning, regulatory framework and market access strategy, to define the experiments to be carried out;
  • Regulatory support;
  • Support for market access strategy;
  • Analysis of project compliance with digital health strategy;
  • Help in finding funding : support in responding to calls for projects (CFPs);
  • Dissemination of innovation via a showroom, training courses and animation of professional communities of practice.

Tiers lieu projects

Project 1: AutonHome

Supplier : Neuradom

Solution : AutonHome is the 1st integrated and personalized e-tele-home rehabilitation service based on augmented reality technology, connected and accompanied remotely by the patient's practitioner. As part of the personalized care pathway, AutonHome enables quality daily home rehabilitation to achieve the best possible autonomy.

Need: to meet a need for quality daily tele- and auto-rehabilitation at home to achieve the best possible autonomy.

Tiers-Lieu contribution: The aim of the experiment conducted by INH Lab's partners, USSAP Perpignan and the Approche association is to evaluate in the post-stroke care pathway, the clinical and medico-economic efficiency of the Autonhome solution via a multicenter study.
INH Lab's value proposition:

  • Multicentric medico-economic study: proof of medico-economic efficiency, a decisive element in the care and legitimacy of the solution;
  • Helping to disseminate the solution internationally;
  • Dissemination via the showroom to users/professionals as a service for structuring and coordinating the care pathway.

Project 2: Kaligo+

Supplier : Learn&Go

Solution : Kaligo+ is a tablet-based digital solution for spotting language disorders, promoting training and supporting the rehabilitation of graphomotor gesture in children with written and oral language disorders, and with disabilities.

Need: in the context of learning to write, to provide an adapted solution for children with motor and cognitive disorders.

Tiers-Lieu contribution: Drawing on INH Lab's skills and in particular the ILDYS Foundation, the experiment aims to assess the usability and acceptability of the Kaligo+ solution for therapists, teachers, children and their parents in order to adapt and improve Kaligo's ergonomics, and thus facilitate its use in a user-centered approach. It will be carried out with the GIS BEaCHILD, pediatric SSR centers, schools, users (parents, therapists, teachers).
INH Lab's value proposition:

  • Multicentric clinical studies with level of evidence;
  • Helping to disseminate the solution nationally and internationally;
  • Dissemination via the showroom to users/professionals.

Project 3: H'Ability Home

Supplier: H'ability

Solution: H'ability Home is a secure asynchronous tele-education solution in immersive virtual reality, designed for home use. Developed in close collaboration with healthcare professionals (physiotherapists, occupational therapists, PRM physicians, etc.), it is part of a proven clinical approach.

Needs : Designed for ease of use and rapid installation, the solution adapts to the constraints of both the home and care facilities. It aims to facilitate the integration of rehabilitation into hybrid care pathways.

Tiers-Lieu contribution: INH Lab, with Fondation Saint-Hélier as SMR pilot center, is supporting the development of this prototype (from TRL6 to TRL9). This support takes the form of a usage experiment and a multicenter clinical study at home, thanks to the methodological and regulatory expertise of the partner centers and a structured recruitment capability.

INH Lab's value proposition:

  • Usage experimentation and Multicenter clinical Investigation ;
  • Accompaniment in disseminating the solution nationally and internationally ;
  • Dissemination via showroom to users/professionals.

Project 4: TM2S

Supplier: MOTEN Technologies

Solution: MOTEN is an innovative solution for preventing the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) in caregivers. It uses innovative sensors based on Artificial Intelligence to measure muscular efforts, gestures and postures, offering objective indicators for prevention.

Need: The solution responds to the crucial need to reduce RSI in care facilities, a major issue in the face of work-related accidents linked to patient handling. It aims to improve caregivers' quality of life at work.

Tiers-Lieu contribution : INH Lab, with the Fondation Saint-Hélier as the SMR pilot center, is supporting the development of the solution (from TRL6 to TRL8). This support takes the form of data collection and a multi-center clinical study, thanks to the methodological and regulatory expertise of the partner centers and a structured recruitment capability.

INH Lab's value proposition:

  • Data collection and multi-center clinical Investigation;
  • Support for the distribution of the solution at national and international level;
  • Dissemination via the showroom to users/professionals.
