France Assos Santé's mission as a union of several hundred national and regional associations is to act in defence of patients' rights, access to care for all, and the quality of the health system. The will of the collective is to give a powerful, audible voice to users' perspectives on the health issues that concern them. 
In concrete terms, this means representing users to the public authorities, training user representatives, ensuring the proper functioning and equity of the health system, and informing the general public. 
As the voice of health system users, France Assos Santé plays an active role in the public debate and makes concrete proposals to institutional and political players.
