How to demonstrate the clinical and/or organizational benefits of your solution

7 good questions to ask yourself:

  1. Are any devices of the same type reimbursable? If so, how does your MD differ from those of competitors?
  2. What data is available? Is it specific to your product & relevant?
  3. What indications can be claimed?
  4. Which comparators can be suggested?
  5. For a DMD: Clinical and/or organizational impact? For an LPP listing: What level of improvement in service is expected (ASA)?
  6. For some cases: How is care organized when it involves your device?
  7. What is the target population (volume of potential patients)?
