More than 300 people took part in the public consultation on the national strategy for the secondary use of health data!

The draft strategy has been put out to consultation with ecosystem players in recent months to adapt the document and prepare for its launch in 2025.

Faced with the boom in new uses for health data, the entry into force of the European health data regulation and the proliferation of reports on the subject, the ministries' directorates*, the health data platform and Assurance Maladie, in close collaboration with ecosystem players, have drawn up aproposal for a national strategy on the secondary use of health data.

The strategy is structured along four synergistic axes:

Extensive stakeholder consultation

The strategy proposal was presented to representative institutions and then put out to public consultation from September 30 to November 5.

This consultation phase resulted in 32 interviews and 43 contributionsrepresenting all the players represented below: feedback from the public consultation

A 10-stop tour of France to meet healthcare data warehouses

In parallel with the public consultation, the interministerial delegation launched atour of the regions to present the strategy, interact with local ecosystems, gather feedback and highlight the many initiatives.

Structured in 10 stages, this tour of France provided an opportunity to meet the holders of France 2030's winning health data warehouse projects, addressing three key themes:

  • Providing insight into the regulation relating to the European Health Data Space,
  • Exchanging views on the draft national strategy,
  • Exchanging views on the achievements of the winning France 2030 warehouses, and highlighting the research or healthcare supply management projects using these warehouses carried out by the winning France 2030 warehouses.
