ANS launches new version of Multi-Terminology Server
Regulations
04/08/2021
A new action from the digital health roadmap released on July 28.
This version brings:
- A SPARQL (SPARQL Protocol and RDF Query Language) query engine: SPARQL is a query language analogous to the SQL language for relational databases, enabling you to query and modify a set of resources in RDF format. All Terminologies published on the SMT are accessible from the SPARQL query engine;
- The service is accessible to all users. Some Terminologies, however, are only visible to logged-in users;
- A data extraction, transformation and loading module, enabling the ANS to facilitate updates to healthcare Terminologies, allowing greater CGTS responsiveness on Terminology updates;
- Patches and improvements in the back-office making it easier to manage and publish healthcare Terminologies.
The offering of Terminologies in RDF/OWL format available on the SMT follows the healthcare Terminologies roadmap, determined annually and concerted as part of the CI-SIS (Cadre d'Interopérabilité des Systèmes d'Information de Santé) governance. The next Terminologies publication roadmap will be outlined at the CI-SIS consultation committee meeting on September 15, 2021.
